History

Annfinn V. Hansen founded the law firm on 1 May 1993. Annfinn V. Hansen operated the firm as sole owner until 2006, when Djóni Thomassen also became an owner and the firm changed its name to Hansen & Thomassen. In 2010, Jens Andrias Vinther joined the ownership group, and the firm subsequently changed its name to Hansen | Thomassen | Vinther. In 2021, Brandur Ellingsgaard and Janus P. Rein became partners, and at the same time the firm adopted the name LEKS Lawfirm. Djóni Thomassen and Brandur Ellingsgaard are no longer partners of LEKS.

Since 2001, the firm has been based in its modern premises at Undir Bryggjubakka.

The partners and attorneys of LEKS Lawfirm are currently Annfinn V. Hansen, Jens Andrias Vinther, and Janus P. Rein.
